Paolo Sarcinelli (Rome, 1968)
Head of Credit of the International Subsidiary Banks Division since February 2007, is an alternate member of the Group Credit Committee and sits on the Board of a number of Intesa Sanpaolo Group subsidiaries, such as: Central-European International Bank (Budapest, Hungary), Recovery Ltd. (Budapest, Hungary), Banca C.R. Firenze Romania SA (Bucarest, Romania), Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania (Tirana, Albania), Sudameris SA (Paris, France), Atlantis SA (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Inversiones Mobiliarias SA (Lima, Peru), Gestiones y Recuperaciones de Activos SA (Lima, Peru).
|Holds an honours degree in Economics from L.U.I.S.S. (Rome). After a working experience at the Commissariat General for Expo'92 in Seville (Spain), in 1993 joined the London Branch of Banca Commerciale Italiana (later IntesaBCI), where he started as trainee to eventually reach the position of Head of Corporate Banking for Northern Europe, in charge of Benelux and Scandinavian corporate customers and of structured finance transactions' origination. As of 2002 he entered the International Subsidiary Banks Division in Milan, where he has been in charge of several divestment projects concerning Latin American subsidiaries and participations of the Group. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Sudameris Colombia SA (Bogota DC, Colombia) and as member of the Board of Directors of Sudameris Bank SAECA (Asunción, Paraguay), Lima Sudameris Holding SA (Lima, Peru), Scotiabank Perú (Lima, Peru), KMB Bank (Moscow, Russia), BC Intesa Sanpaolo Romania SA (Arad, Romania), as well as member of the Supervisory Board of VÚB a.s. (Bratislava, Slovak Republic).|
